Le Soleil began with a question: What does the sun smell like? I remember reading the poem Sun Rising as a child, and never quite forgetting it. Going back to the images it evoked, we imagined the kind of sun John Donne wrote of in the Sun Rising, the bold intruder that slips through your curtains and refuses to be ignored.

To capture that energy, we blended hand-plucked Geranium, Lime, and ripe Mandarin in a composition that is bright and insistent.

It is a provocative, rude awakening and yet irresistible in its warmth. It is the scent of a day that demands to begin.
